Summary: An inucest shouta pre-canon AU/Feudal Era saga. This ongoing chapter story offers slices of life and important moments in the relationship between a young adult Sesshoumaru and his bastard hanyou brother Kin (a.k.a. Inuyasha). In this world, Sesshoumaru’s father (whom we call Tai and Sesshoumaru calls Papa or my Lord Father) is alive and the unquestioned Lord of the Western Lands. He is grooming his firstborn (One True Son Sesshoumaru) for future leadership and has done so since he was a child (through lessons, punishments, and repeated mounting). He gives the Inuyasha (a generic name for all of his bastard children, meaning, as it does, merely “dog demon”) to Sesshoumaru (whom the child calls Oniisama and eventually just Onii) as a test, a lesson, and an opportunity for growth. The child Tai chooses (an only child produced with one of the Lord’s many human and youkai concubines) is the one who has inherited the strongest genetics, yet he is still a bastard and hanyou and has faced the predictable misuse of his older half-siblings and is necessarily thus sexually precocious. The pup’s mother has named him “Kin” (meaning gold, for his eyes and preciousness to her). In addition to his hanyou identity, the pup also has a youkai side (whom Sesshoumaru nicknames "Ken") and a human side.
We write these stories together, alternating paragraphs between us and between characters. Salome writes Sesshoumaru; Talon writes Kin. And we divide the other characters according to who wishes to write them and who simply grabs one and prompts the other to reply.
Our goal is to develop characters and relationships richly and compellingly, portraying all the love, lust, and angst we can envision.
WARNING: This is SHOUTA. In youkai years, Kin is not a child. But he looks and acts like one. We are writing fantasy here. If you're squicked by shouta, PLEASE do not read this.
